My client is looking for an Intranet Developer/Designer to provide technical and design skills in the creation and development of a intranet and new media projects from specification to final implementation, content management and post implementation support. You will be responsible for the design and development and ultimately responsible for, the layout, visual appearance and usability of the group wide Intranet and you will work closely with the Intranet Manager to continually develop, maintain and support the Intranet.

You must have project management skills gained in developing, design and delivering intranet sites and have a high degree of creativity and graphic design skills.  The candidate must be able to demonstrate good knowledge of ECM and have experience of:

HTML,
XHTML
CSS,
XML,
Java Script,
ASP,
.NET,
Ajax,
Photoshop,
Dreamweaver,
Illustrator,
comfortable with Wireframes, UI and UX concepts

It is desirable that you are able to work as part of a small web team and manage own work with minimum supervision and that you have a flexible approach with the ability to prioritise and juggle several projects at any one time. You should have experience of producing standards, compliant/accessible and you should have a client focused approach to meeting internal customer needs. An understanding of branding and brand development and having experience of working within a Marketing Communications department would also be beneficial.
